About Us
Brooklyn BridgeBuilders is a grassroots coalition of Central Brooklyn residents—parents, neighbors, professionals, and lifelong New Yorkers—united by a shared commitment to safety, justice, and true progressive leadership.
In a district where most voters identify as progressive but feel let down by performative politics, we’re organizing for leaders who match our values: integrity, inclusivity, and accountability.
With antisemitism on the rise and trust in local leadership fading, we believe silence is not an option.
Through education, outreach, and voter mobilization, we’re turning frustration into action—and protecting the future of a Brooklyn we all call home.
Our Story
Brooklyn BridgeBuilders started as a conversation among neighbors alarmed by rising antisemitism, toxic public discourse, and the failure of local leaders to reflect our values.
After a disturbing meeting with Council Member Hanif, which you can read about here, we decided to mobilize. That effort grew into a grassroots movement powered by first-time activists who’d had enough.
In 2024, we launched as an independent expenditure committee to support candidates committed to inclusion, safety, and accountability in Central Brooklyn.
We are a first of its kind effort rooted in community—organizing locally, listening deeply, and standing up to hate in all forms.
Because we love where we live—and we know Brooklyn deserves better.

Your support helps us reach voters, train volunteers, and run powerful awareness campaigns leading up to the election.
Every dollar, every conversation, and every shared message brings us closer to the leadership our community deserves.
This isn’t just about one race—it’s about protecting our values and shaping Brooklyn’s future.
